How many people can I bring on my charter?
You can bring up to 4 anglers on your fishing charter. Please note that the price listed is for up to 2 anglers. Each additional person is $50.
Do we need to purchase fishing licenses?
You do not have to purchase a fishing license to go out on a charter with us. We have a special, state-issued license that will legally cover any paying customer on our vessel.
What is included in the price of my charter?
The price of your charter includes all necessary bait, tackle, and fishing licenses for a day of fishing. We will have a cooler filled with ice to keep all of your food and drinks cold. If you plan on keeping your catch, the captain will filet and bag it for you.
Where do we meet on the day of our charter?
All of our inshore and nearshore charters depart from Wet Lines Bait & Tackle 200 Seminole Street, Clearwater, FL.
What should I bring with me on my charter?
You should bring with you any food and drink (especially water!) you would like to enjoy on your fishing adventure. Bring what you need to be comfortable outdoors for the length of your trip. Basic items to consider bringing based upon season and weather are sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, windbreaker, sweatshirt, etc. If you intend to keep your catch, bring a cooler with you to store the fish once it is filleted.
Can I take my kids fishing?
YES! We love to take kids and families out on our fishing charters. Captain Jason is extremely patient and loves teaching kids fishing basics and techniques. He will ensure your family has a tremendous and memorable time on the water. Please contact us with specific questions regarding your family.
How can I pay for my charter?
Cash is always our preferred method of payment, however we can also take credit card payments (4% fee) or Venmo payments (2.2% fee).
Should I tip the captain?
Private Charter Fishing is a service based industry and if you are happy with your experience please leave a reasonable tip for your captain - we recommend 20%.
